The NX1P2-9024DT1 is a compact machine automation controller (CPU unit) designed for integrated logic, motion, I/O, networking (EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP) and expansion.Supports multiple communication ports: built-in EtherCAT master, built-in EtherNet/IP, Ethernet TCP/IP, plus option for serial communications (RS-232C/422/485) via an option board.

Redundant (duplex) CPU architecture: Two CPU units operate such that one is standby and one active, enabling high reliability.
Hot-swappable I/O units and expansion options: In many configurations you can replace or add I/O modules or power supply units without shutting down the system.
Large program and data memory capacity: With 250k steps of program memory and ~448k words of data memory, it supports fairly large applications.
Supports modular programming using FBs, ST, SFC for reusability and maintainability.
